Acupuncture is a technique which involves the insertion of very thin needles into the body to treat a wide range of conditions.

Acupuncture has been practiced for 2000 years in China and is still widely practiced alongside western medicine.

In Europe, Acupuncture has been used for the last 50 years. It's been used to relieve the symptoms of many diseases and has been proven to be effective by many clinical studies and good scientific evidence has shown its effectiveness.

Most common ailments acupuncture is used for:

- Musculo-skeletal problems: We treat those problems with acupuncture and massage within the same session. We often use electro-acupuncture and moxibustion.

- Headaches and migraines: Acupuncture on its own works often very well.

- Problems related to periods: pain, PMT and water retention and gyneacological problems such as polycystic ovaries.

- Stress: We generally use acupuncture and massage.

- infertility and IVF: Acupuncture helps reducing stress, regulating the periods and improving blood flow and eggs and sperm quality.

- Problems related to pregnancy such as morning sickness and breech position.
