Text Box: Silène Bricet is a fully qualified and registered acupuncturist and massage therapist. She holds a Bsc (HONS) degree and has gone through extensive trainings including studies of scientific and medically orientated subjects such as physiology, pathology, anatomy. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, she observes a strict code of practice which lays down stringent standards of hygiene and sterilization. These procedures have been approved by the Department of Health. She also worked for 18 months at the Gateway clinic, a NHS-funded clinic run by highly experienced practitioners, and widely recognized for its pioneering work in HIV. Silene has now run The Alternative Care since 2007 and practice at “Cure by Nature” in Southfields and “Kennington Chiropractic” in Kennington.
